For me, writing is a way of life. I have kept a journal since I was seven years old and take it with me wherever I go . . .

From traveling the world to running my own Hawaiian biscotti bakery on O‘ahu to creating cookbooks with every Hawaiian-made goodie, my family and friends and I love to share our ideas and favorite recipes. Throughout it all, writing has always been the thread that ties everyone and everything together.

As a fourth-generation kama’aina (resident) raised in Hawai’i, I have been inspired by my beautiful island home to put my hobbies to ink. Since my first cookbook, Sugar and Spice Cookies Made With Love, to my current one, Hawaiian-Made Goodies, I have endeavored to capture the exotic flavors of Hawai’i and the world for all to enjoy. I hope you love making these recipes into delicious treats as much as I do.

In my free time, I love to horseback ride on the beach, traverse trails, and explore the world as an adventuresome foodie with family and friends.
